We feel the right lens is just as important
as the frame shape, color or size. The lens choice will determine the
thickness and visual accuracy of your prescription. We use only Essilor,
Seiko, Sola, Pentax, Hoya, Optima or Shamir lenses. We never use cheap
imitations.
You can add a variety of different tints to your glasses and turn
them into sunglasses, and you can also add ultraviolet protection coating
to protect against harmful UV radiation.
FramesDirect recommends polycarbonate
lenses for active people, children under the age of 18, and for eye-threatening
working situations.
Thinner and lighter in weight than the 1.67, the 1.70 has built-in UV protection, great for high
prescriptions and automatically antireflective coated.
